Who is Dr Aurora Falcone PhD, DClinPsych, CPsychol
Welcome!

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and I have worked in the NHS and currently in private practice. ​
I have trained and worked across various specialist services, including inpatient and community settings, supporting adults, mothers and babies, perinatal clients, and children and young people with a range of psychological difficulties. I offer therapies informed by different psychological models.
I obtained a PhD in Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology both from King's College London. I have carried out research, delivered teaching, and provided supervision to junior colleagues.
I am an Accredited Positive Parenting Programme (Triple P) Provider and an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained Therapist.
I have undertaken further specialist training, including Perinatal Clinical Psychology Training

Availability

I am available to work with individuals (adults, children and young people, older adults) and couples / families.

I offer clinical supervision and specialist perinatal supervision.
Exclusions

I do not provide a crisis service or prescribe medication.

Clinical Specialties
My clinical specialities include perinatal mental health and severe psychological presentations. My PhD focused on psychosis, and my Clinical Doctorate on mania
- I work with adults and older adults experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties (see here).
-I have a particular interest in supporting individuals during the perinatal period, both antenatally and postnatally, including parent-infant interactions, perinatally-related losses, and fertility challenges.
- I have experience working with young people, including in adolescent inpatient units, and I am interested in working in this area.
