 Who is Dr Aurora Falcone PhD, DClinPsych, CPsychol 

Welcome!

Dr Aurora Falcone

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist working at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and in private practice. 

I obtained a PhD in Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology both from King's College London.

I have been working across various specialist services with a range of psychological difficulties and I offer therapies informed by different psychological models. 

I have carried out research, delivered teaching, and provided supervision to junior colleagues.

I am an Accredited Positive Parenting Programme (Triple P) Provider and an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained Therapist.
I have undertaken further specialist training, including Perinatal Clinical Psychology Training and I am completing specialist training to become accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

Clinical Specialties 

My clinical specialties are Perinatal and severe psychological presentations - my PhD focused on Psychosis and my Clinical Doctorate on Mania.  

I am particularly interested in working with clients in the perinatal period, both antenatally and postnatally, the parent-infant interaction, perinatally-related losses and fertility problems.
